Cowrie Shell 

What is a Cowrie or Cowry shell? It's usually small, has a smooth glossy texture on the surface, and resembles the female life-giving organ which improves fertility. The beautiful cowrie shell is regarded in many ancient cultures as an amulet to add vitality to life, and based on history, prolongs life to the point of immortality.

Not only did they have medical purposes, but Cowry-shells were used as a form of currency for thousands, if not tens of thousands of years, only if they still were =)
